Getting an awesome cleaning business off the ground

Awesome News story

Awesome approached Kickstart when they were a brand new start up. They had a sound business plan but no identity, leaflets or a clear idea of the how to get customers. They also had a limited budget.

Kickstart first created a logo for them which looked professional but was inexpensive. We researched the potential customers via a questionnaire and simply written letter. Targeting friends and neighbours initially, the results not only gave Awesome a starting point for understanding what was important to customers, but their first jobs came in on the strength of it too.

The message of 'local, reliable and trustworthy' became the focus of the inhouse leaflet and business card we designed and the sign writing on their new van. Now word of mouth recommendations back up the leaflet and poster promotion with new work coming in regularly. Awesome are proud of their image and are already more successful than they had hoped for at this early stage.

"Kickstart provided marketing focus by engaging with potential customers and then implementing a plan which is tailored for the local market.

One of the returned questionnaires stated 'never underestimate the power of marketing' - a sentiment Awesome wholeheartedly agrees with.

Within a small budget, Kickstart's invaluable help has greatly contributed to our initial successes."
